Join Us for Saturday Morning Group Distance Training Runs
The Spring season begins annually on the 3rd Saturday each Feb, and ends the weekend prior to Memorial Day weekend. Runners depart RAC at 7:15am
The Fall season begins annually on the 3rd Saturday in June, and ends the weekend prior to Labor Day weekend. Runners depart RAC at 7am.
The `Off Season Striders` is our informal option (no aid stations or maps) for group running on Sundays and the Saturdays between the Spring & Fall Season training sessions. email RTC to receive OSS information.
Group distance running is a great way to build up endurance, meet runners and learn Rochester's excellent biking trail system. All are welcome to join our organized Saturday group runs, however to prevent injury, new participants should feel capable of running 10K/6.2 miles at, or under, 80 minutes.
Please bring $1 per week or $10/season, to cover cost of aid station supplies & route map supplies. There are typically runners of EVERY ability.
Saturday training runs are designed to help runners prepare for Grandma's, Med City, or any other marathon or 1/2 marathon in late May or June.
