The Rochester Track Club as asking you, the running public, to consider whom you would like to nominate for the 2019 Runner of the Year (ROY). This is an annual award and can be received once during the runner's lifetime. The deserving runner will receive this honor at the annual RTC banquet in January.
The criteria for the ROY are the following:
1) Outstanding accomplishment in the sport of running (i.e. shear athletic excellence)
2) Outstanding running role model (i.e. this individual's enthusiasm, drive, and/ or accomplishment inspires others both on and off the running trails)
3) Outstanding contribution to our running community (i.e. this individual donates of their time and efforts to advance not only the RTC, but helps other welcome and embrace the special gifts running has to offer).
4) Awarded once in lifetime of recipient.
